The race starts from piazza Brocherel in Courmayeur. The first 3 kilometers are developed initially on asphalt (2 km) and then place the dirt road. We then reach Pontal d'entreves, and starts from now a progressive ascent on a wide dirt road until you reach the entrance of the hunt trail. The real race starts here: a long stretch of forest in few kilometers earns almost 900 meters in altitude. You reach the Pavillon, the first section of the cable car. From Pavillon along a rocky trail and an elevation gain of 1200 metres brings athletes to Rifugio Torino Old. The competitors will transit on the Ridge which connects the Torino hut at Punta Helbronner. The race ends on the rooftop terrace of the cableway SkyWay.
